In 1918 Gaeseong, Korea, my grandmother’s cooking was more than food. It nourished her family, carried tradition forward, and created a sense of home.
That spirit crossed oceans.
In Ohio, our family blended Korean and American flavors—kimchi with hot dogs, gochujang on burgers. Unconventional, but ours. Cooking became a way to adapt, to belong, and stay connected.
After more than 50 years of crafting cookware for professional kitchens through our family company Bumkoo, we launched H Cookware to bring that same knowledge and care into home kitchens.
